Position: Marketing & Communication Director
Reporting to: VP & Managing Director France

Start date : July

Reporting to the VP & Managing Director of RetailMeNot France, you’ll be responsible of the key functions related to Marketing and Communication channels.

Replacing the Marketing Director during her maternity leave, you will oversee the implementation of the strategy including CRM, PPC, digital marketing, PR and brand. You’ll manage a team of 6 marketing experts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Marketing and Communication plans to support business goals.
• Pivot and respond to business goals through new marketing initiatives that will build our traffic, user engagement and brand awareness.
• Lead brand messaging and deliver marketing campaigns that grow consumer awareness.
• Establish RetailMeNot France as a thought leader with the media through B2B programs.
• Develop, launch and manage a comprehensive CRM program focusing on repeat engagement and retention.
• Direct holistic consumer profiles, segmentation, and targeting strategy across all channels and platforms.
• Lead and shape media campaigns as required to support CRM, user acquisition and brand awareness company goals.
• Lead the strategic planning and the implementation of all media relations (PR, Bloggers and Social Media) with the goal of increasing press coverage and establishing a positive and strong brand for consumers.
• Manage brand and consumer marketing budget and spend.
• Collaborate and coordinate with Product, Sales and Editorial teams to implement aligned plans that support business goals and lead consumer messaging and communications as necessary across all business channels.
• Oversee processes to monitor and track brand awareness, identify and refine core target audiences and monitor competitive activity.
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of all marketing activities with KPIs.
• Work closely with UK and US marketing teams to leverage and share best practises.
• Develop team talent and functional expertise to achieve brand and consumer marketing goals.


Preferred experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of brand and digital channel marketing experience, including 3+ years as a Director.
• Management experience and strong leadership skills with the ability to lead high a team of experts.
• Strong consumer marketing background in e-commerce or online media business.
• Innovative thinker with creative problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing, dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Demonstrated success in CRM strategy and user retention.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Confident, driven and dynamic leader.
• Strong analytical and data driven marketing skills.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
