In this context, L’Oréal has launched a Tech Accelerator, a brand-new structure contributing to transform L’Oréal into a Beauty Tech through the acceleration of strategic deep tech projects at scale. With 3 hubs in Paris, New York and Shanghai, it is a structure blending rare resources, state-of-the-art technologies & methodology to enable our best talents to deliver the most value.

We are looking for our SRE & Automation engineer to join the Paris Tech Accelerator team to contribute on buildings AI solutions, on strategic and high priority projects for the Group. You will evolve in an environment that has

  • Projects with many experts in their respective fields: Data Science, AI, Agility, Business experts, UX/UI, Data engineering, Big Data and Cloud architecture, DevOps & IaC
  • Diversity of Data (internal / external, structured or not) and missions (marketing, supply, retail, R&I …)
  • Diversity of tech stacks: GCP, Terraform, Node JS, React JS, Python …
  • Capacity and dedicated time to identify and test new approaches, technologies and tools


In the Tech accelerator you will be joining the tech team to help design, improve & maintain the different solutions on transversal subjects.

As an SRE & Automation engineer you will learn to:
  • Contribute to the improvements of our monitoring systems
  • Contribute to the creation & improvements of our repositories templates
  • Improve & update the infrastructure as code design and modules
  • Design and build cloud sustainability mechanisms
  • Improve our CICD workflows
  • Design & document out GCP architecture templates with experts

YOU ARE…
  • A Master student in Engineering/ Programmating school
  • Fluent in English & French
  • A Python user: for automation & creating code snippets
  • A Bash user: creating script and use of basics unix commands/binaries (cat, sed, ls…)
  • An SQL user: query language for requesting data & data manipulation
  • A Linux user: administration and use


IT IS NICE IF YOU USE:

  • Git: push, commit, amend (GitHub)
  • REST APIs / Graph APIs
  • Terraform: Infrastructure as code language for cloud providers
  • Elasticsearch / MongoDB: NoSQL database
  • Docker: OS virtualization tool for microservices/containers
  • GCP (Google Cloud Platform): Cloud services providers (GCS, CloudBuild, CloudRun, AppEngine, BigQuery, IAP, StackDriver, IAM)

The recruiter you meet with will be getting to know you better so they can capture the métier, division, brand and finally the mission in which you will be able to better express your potential.

2°/ Finally, you will get a Business interview with your potential future manager(s). At this point, your recruiter will help you prepare for this final interview!
