Directly reporting to the CEO and part of the leadership team, your objective is to establish Spinergie as a market leader in Singapore and its region. You are in charge of the evangelization of the market and our local expansion.
With the support of the Paris HQ teams, you are fully accountable for the growth of our customer base and the quality of our operations.
Description:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by building relationships and expanding our client portfolio within Southeast Asia. This role requires excellent product knowledge, communication and negotiation skills, and a track record of developing strong partnerships with maritime stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key maritime stakeholders in the Southeast Asia region to position the company as a trusted partner
Understand operational challenges and objectives of prospective clients in order to tailor solutions to address their specific needs
Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking events, industry insights and other prospecting activities
Develop a robust pipeline of prospective clients, qualify leads and nurture positive relationships to convert them into long-term partnerships
Gain in-depth knowledge of our software solutions and articulate their unique value proposition
Lead presentations, product demos, pricing negotiations, and contracts in order to secure mutually beneficial deals
Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure smooth delivery and implementation of solutions and services
Collaborate with marketing, pre-sales and services teams to continuously enhance customer experience
Stay updated on maritime industry trends, emerging technologies and competitive landscape to shape strategy and drive innovation
Achieve and exceed regional sales targets by executing a strategic approach to account management
7+ years of experience in software/SaaS sales, business development or account management
2-3 years of experience within the maritime industry
Demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders
Highly commercially focused, a proactive hunter mentality
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English required
Strong team player and excellent communicator
Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability and willingness to travel within the region as needed
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline preferred
