As the Head of Supply, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and overseeing the operational departments in Portugal. You will lead a team of sales professionals, leveraging your expertise in marketplace and SaaS solutions to achieve strategic objectives and exceed sales targets. Your primary focus will be on fostering a high-performance sales culture, optimizing sales processes, and strengthening client relationships through very strong after-sales support.

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive individual and team performance.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate the Portuguese market and expand our customer base.
  • Collaborate closely with the global sales leadership team to align sales initiatives and ensure consistency in approach.
  • Utilise your in-depth knowledge of marketplace and SaaS solutions to effectively communicate value propositions and address client needs.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver integrated solutions and enhance customer experience.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the Portuguese branch and the rest of the organization, facilitating communication and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, resilience, and adaptability in navigating challenges and achieving business objectives.
  • Ensure a good understanding of the main partner's success processes and take responsibility for overseeing the aforementioned area with the support of one person.

About you: 

  • Extensive experience in sales, with solid managerial capacity, preferably in a digital or tech company.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and exceeding targets in the marketplace and SaaS industry.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools to manage customer interactions and maintain accurate records. (Mainly Salesforce)
  • Native Portuguese speaker with excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written (the interviews will be held in English). Spanish is also a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower team members to achieve excellence.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and influence key stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented approach with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and driving continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and navigate ambiguity with resilience and resourcefulness.
  • Available to work from the office for 4 days per week.
