We are seeking an experienced and strategic Content Factory Manager to lead our content localization (translation, transcreation and adaption efforts) across various platforms (DAM, CMS, etc..) and markets. As the Content Factory Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our content resonates with our diverse audiences worldwide while maintaining brand consistency and quality. You will oversee a talented team, and partner with a renown global agency, driving innovation, efficiency, and excellence in the localization process.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Min 8 to 10 years’ experience in content operations in global environment, content & digital capabilities, operational marketing or related experiences

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate multicultural teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in localization tools and technologies, such as CAT tools, TMS platforms, and CMS systems.

  • Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation, optimization, and continuous improvement in the localization process.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Experience working with external partners / agency.

  • Strong understanding of digital environment

  • Strong autonomy, self-drive and ability to embark people.

  • Fast learner, and comfortable coping with change

  • Fluent in English

  • Content Factory Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive localization strategy aligned with Royal Canin's global objectives and target markets, supported by a Workflow Management System and DAM. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand cultural nuances and audience preferences, ensuring content relevance and effectiveness. Define a governance model ensuring adoption and ongoing usability of the Factory, with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, manage and empower a multicultural team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. Provide guidance, training, and support to optimize team performance while maximize team spirit and engagement.

  • Content Localization: Oversee the end-to-end localization process and capacity planning, from content adaptation and translation to transcreation and quality assurance. Ensure that localized content maintains the intended message, tone, and impact across languages and cultures.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (incl. Marketing, Brand Strategy, Pet Owner Experience, Vet, Professionals, Digital Factory, etc..), to integrate localization efforts seamlessly into broader business strategies and initiatives.

  • Performance Analysis: Utilize localization metrics and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of localized content in different markets. Identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement, leveraging data-driven insights.

  • Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement Content Factory tools, platforms, and technologies to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance collaboration across distributed teams.

  • Quality Assurance: Establish rigorous quality control processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness of localized content. Develop and maintain style guides, glossaries, and terminology databases to facilitate consistency and compliance.

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the Content Factory budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI and achieve strategic objectives. Monitor expenses, support negotiation of vendor contracts, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards. Support our Regions and Markets to build their budget in accordance with their priorities.
