Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA) combines a recognized wholesale coverage with world-class product, financing and advisory expertise within one team, enabling us to best support our clients.
The V.I.E. Structured Finance Analyst will be working alongside senior team members towards the origination and execution of structured finance transactions (e.g. project/asset finance) booked within SG CIB.

  • Draft credit applications and facilitate the approval process in collaboration with internal SG Group stakeholders involved in the file
  • Review and negotiate legal documentation with the assistance of the legal department
  • Handle closing process in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor the evolution of transactions including the update of credit files
  • Oversee compliance with conditions in coordination with internal services
  • In case of contractual changes, accompany structural changes and contractual negotiations in liaison with key external and internal stakeholders in order to maintain the quality of the transaction

Please note that for the missions outside the European countries, a VISA is necessary. Please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure. Otherwise, we strongly advise you to launch asap the renewal of your passport.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance
  • A previous experience in Structured Finance and/or credit analysis would be appreciated; ideally, a first successful experience with a Tier-1 bank (CIB)

Language skills:
  • Fluent in English and in French (B2-C1)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:
  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office (Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of financial/credit analysis, LMA (loan documentation) and operations

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
