BlueBoard construit depuis 2015 une solution SaaS de Business Intelligence à destination des marques de biens de consommation. Cette solution leur permet de comprendre par qui et comment leurs produits sont distribués en ligne.

Concrètement, les marques ont souvent trop peu de visibilité sur ce qu'il advient de leurs produits une fois qu'ils ont quitté l'entrepôt. Avec BlueBoard, elles peuvent repérer les ruptures de stock, comprendre l'évolution des prix, répondre à davantage d'avis en ligne et harmoniser leur image de marque sur des centaines de sites en parallèle.

Pour fournir toutes ces informations, BlueBoard acquiert des millions de points de données par jour auprès de milliers de sites commerçants.

Job description

The applicant should have a PhD in computer science or applied mathematics with knowledge on statistics, machine learning, cognitive science or other areas relevant to the themes.

The applicant should also have publication records in top conferences or journals in machine learning, AI or NLP.
High level of English is a necessary prerequisite. Knowledge of French would be a plus.

The applicants must be autonomous and proactive in an agile environment and be able to work in a multi-disciplinary environment, including interaction with “soft” scientists, and should have excellent skills in drafting and in scientific/Tech communication.

Main missions

  • Apply advanced statistical predictive models and leading machine learning algorithms to generate automatically proposition of analysis according to the BlueBoard’s methodology and data sets;
  • Propose new models based on machine learning and information retrieval to support BlueBoard human expertise and methodology;
  • Propose new data representations for different types of data.

Preferred experience

Professional expertise

  • Ability to work with and deploy data through APIs;
  • Experience to apply supervised, unsupervised and semi-supervised learning techniques;
  • Experience with Machine Learning pipelines: data ingestion, feature engineering, modelling including ensemble methods, predicting, explaining, deploying and diagnosing overfitting;
  • Experience in model selection and sampling.

Scientific and Tech (development) requirements

  • Significant experience in natural language generation (NLG), natural language processing or machine learning (in particular neural networks);
  • Advanced skills in Probabilities and Statistics;
  • Mastering Python is mandatory.
