Context :

• hyper growth startup type of environment
• 35 people startup with 20+ large corporate accounts
• internationalization in progress with some existing clients in UK / Spain / US
• plan to open US subsidiary in the coming 6/9 months
• no internal financial function today

Tasks :

1) First 9-12 months

• Implement the appropriate tools to manage accounting
• Be a link between business teams (in charge of CRM / sales management) and external accountant
• Review existing tools (CRM, Payfit…) and consider their potential optimization / integration
• Implement the analytical view on accounting (Monthly P&L / CF by country and by product line)
• Implement the monthly reporting and board decks to financial investors which will be used both as business decision making support and as marketing tools for a large Series B with international investors to be started within 12/18 months
• Review, adjust and update current financial forecast model in order to make it work bottom up from CRM-based revenue assumptions
• Take care of the existing bank relationships and new financing tools (loans, subsidiaries, factoring…)
• Manage the opening of new subsidiaries from a banking and admin standpoint
• Take care of tax and admin-related topics in relationship with the accountant

2) After 9-12 months

• Take a key role, alongside with the founders, in the preparation of the deck and dataroom in advance of Series B
• Be part of the roadshow targeting international VCs
• Start building finance team

What we are looking for :

• Hands on profile
• Business driven / business enabler / internal advisor to founders
• Capacity to be a selling point for the firm, both by the quality of deliverables and by the communication skills (French / English)

Ideas of profiles / past experiences :

• Experience in bulge bracket investment bank a plus for the structured, disciplined approach to everything
• Experience in audit / transaction services interesting for the building of reporting / forecast tools
• Experience in a more mature, hypergrowth type of startup
  a plus for the culture of ambition, international development and VC relationships
