What you will do

About the role

Programs at Five by Five are incredibly diverse. Today, they include an intrapreneurship program, an accelerator for future policymakers and 66miles.fr. As a program manager at Five by Five, you will be the heart of programs just like these.

This means:

Your mission first and foremost is this: empower intrapreneurs to launch and scale products from inside their organizations. The position involves

  • co-designing both the front-stage experience at every touch point as well as the back-stage processes that make it possible (budget, project flow, etc.)
  • championing startup mindsets, tools and ways of working within traditionally risk adverse organizations
  • growing our stellar network of partners and experts
  • creating a sense of community amongst diverse stakeholders (participants, clients, partners and mentors)
  • maintaining a birds-eye view of project traffic flow and making sure diverse activities are organized, on track and moving forward.

At a strategy level, you will lead design and ideation sessions to design these programs. At an operational level, you will be the our connection to intrapreneurs, team members, production partners and experts. You will continue to build our network of experts in all areas of product development and entrepreneurship. You will forge long lasting relationships with all these people as you will be their go-to person.

What we are looking for

About you

You have a track-record of participatory leadership, able to drive business goals and build effective ad hoc teams—selecting, onboarding and bringing out the best in everyone you work with. You can anticipate the needs of your fellow team members and clients and help them by resolving operational issues before they even arise.

You are insanely organized, have hard-core juggling skills and can think on your feet even in high-stress situations. You are a true productivity geek who masters all the latest collaboration tools. Even then, you keep an eye out for ways to do things better, faster and smarter.

You are fluent in Lean Startup and Design Thinking methodologies, and have successfully conducted multiple design sprints. We eat our own dogfood here: The vocabulary, concepts and tools will come in handy both with client projects and backstage work with the team.

You are an outstanding facilitator with the ability to craft and deliver compelling presentations. Your communication skills in French will need to be above average for this position, while your English will need to be operational (Read: You can write great emails, but maybe not great sonnets just yet.)

You have a keen sense of empathy. You understand that programs are not just about checking boxes, but creating positive experiences at every touchpoint.

We are diploma-agnostic for this position, but experience counts. You will have already been involved with one or more of the following: intrapreneurship programs, product design studios, accelerators, service design or UX agencies and/or B2B organisations focused on training.
