Edward Gomaa

Program Director & Head of Content

Having started his professional life as a Program Coordinator for a Washington D.C.-based experiential learning company, Ed soon responded to the international call by moving to Paris to manage digital communications and product development for the online market research company Toluna. Prior to joining Five by Five, he was a Project Director at digital communications agency Pelham Media, working with much of the CAC40 across the sectors of telecommunications, energy, banking and building materials.

He now serves as Program Director and Head of Content heading corporate training around the fields of rapid prototyping and design thinking while also developing his passions for connecting people and creating better urban spaces for city inhabitants.

Ed holds degrees from James Madison University and the University of Bordeaux.

Lucile Roudenkoff

Program Manager

Lucile has become part of the foundation of Five by Five, serving as Program Manager and specializing in operations and production. Currently, she’s managing the roll out of Five by Five’s five-month long intrapreneur program featuring 13 hand-picked women from five major international corporations.

Lucile earned a Master’s degree in Technology Innovation and Management at the Sorbonne, later working for the European Union Delegation in Beijing on shared research and innovation programs focusing on urbanism, biotech and aeronautics.

Kat Borlongan

Founding Partner

Kat’s focus is on startup engagement strategy and program design. She first fell into the startup rabbit hole upon arriving Paris in 2012, when she joined the award-winning civic startup Voxe.org. Since then, her passion for the French tech ecosystem has brought her other hats: French Tech Ticket Ambassador, Google Expert, Director of the Open Data Institute Paris. She also serves as a mentor at accelerators such as Numa, Google Launchpad and Startup Bootcamp.

Her passion projects remain at the intersection of tech and social good: She led the Filipino government’s 500-strong tech team against the super-typhoon Haiyan and more recently founded the Paris Summer Innovation Fellowship.

Kat holds degrees from Sciences Po Bordeaux and McGill University.
