The position

Job description

Based in Miami, he/she will have the mission of:

  • Put in place and develop long-term partnerships with the partnering distributors
  • Daily manager of the partnering distributors
  • Construct a business plan as well as a plan to action to attain the revenue objectives
  • Initiate and put in place marketing and sales campaigns in collaboration with the marketing department
  • Attain the selling objectives and manage the forecasts (create a link between the sales team and distributers)
  • Oversee the strategy to attain the development of the indirect sales network
  • Create and put in place the action of sales and promotions
  • Achieve a regular reporting to steer the business development
  • Oversee market intelligence and competition, integrating the identification and development of new markets
  • Participate in trade shows, client events and business meetings

Preferred experience

The Channel Sales Manager reports to the director of the division in Seattle & works from Miami.
The required profile must obtain a Bac +4 in the Business field, he/she has at minimum 5 years of significant experience in IT distributing network from a similar software vendor.
He/she has experience in managing the negotiation of marketing budgets with distributors.
Knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem is undeniably a plus.
He/she is very oriented in the client and in results. Someone who is recognized for their rigor, their tenacity, their perseverance but also their ability to listen and has an analytical mind.

He/she has proficiency in office tools (pack office).
He/she has fluent English/ spanish in both oral and written.
Regular trips throughout south America and USA are expected.
