Job description

Mission
The Head of International Expansion will be responsible to accelerate LMP’s growth on the European market and select markets overseas, by signing large recurring contracts (+100k€) with political and corporate clients. He/she will lead the commercial development of LMP’s business internationally. Critical to this role is the ability to effectively recruit and lead team of business developers (in-house and consultants).
As part of the leadership team, and reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of International Expansion will have the opportunity to shape the future of the company.

Outcomes
Business Development Strategy
• Has designed a business development plan for international clients (political parties, trade unions, corporations), validated by the CEO: 1 month
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of LMP’s products and value proposition: 3 months

Execution of Business Development Plan
• Sign 2 large recurring contracts (>100k€) with political and corporate clients: 12 months
• Organises and leads presentation of LMP’s products to prospects and potential customers: 3 months
• Works closely with the French Business Development team and share best practices and processes to improve overall sales effectiveness: 3 months
• Prepares a budget for international business development efforts in line with sales objectives : 3 months

Recruitment/Team management
• Has recruited a team of business developers on 3 target markets: 6 months
• Leads professional development for international sales agents: 6 months
• Implement a sales process for the sales team inspired by best practices designed by the France business development team : 9 months

Public Relations (PR)
• Is seen as expert on campaign technology/data and regularly invited to panels/conferences and interviewed in high-level publications: 12 months
• Build and maintain a good network of journalists and be proactive with good PR opportunities: 6 months

  • Recruitment : 10% (20% first 6 months)

Preferred experience

Required
• 4 years of professional experience, including project management
• Successful track record in a B2B sales role
• “Get it done” mindset, does not give up easily
• Fluent in English
• Strong leadership capabilities and relationship management skills
• Strong detail-orientation and top level self-organisation

Nice to have
• Fluent in French
• Fluent in another European language (German/Italian/Spanish)
• Strong interest of politics in European countries
