As PayFit’s first data engineer, you’ll be in charge of building the whole company’s data infrastructure. You will work directly with a data analyst and closely with product and business teams.

You will :

• Identify data needs for business and product teams, understand their specific requirements for metrics and analysis, and build efficient and scalable data pipelines to enable data-driven decisions across PayFit

• Build data pipelines that track our marketing funnel from visits to onboarding to active usage of PayFit

• Work closely with all teams (Marketing, Sales, Customer, Product, Tech, …) in order to identify needs and build our data infrastructure strategy and roadmap

• Build a robust and scalable infrastructure (ETL, data pipelines, datawarehouse, data viz, …) able to sustain teams needs and growth, and data volume’s fast increase

• Consolidate and clean data from all sources across PayFit, in order to make it ready and easy to use

• Design, develop, and own data pipelines and models that power internal analytics for product and business teams

• 3+ Years of experience in a Data Engineering or Data Science role, with a focus on building data pipelines or conducting data intensive analysis.

• Have an inquisitive nature in diving into data inconsistencies to pinpoint issues

• Knowledge of a scientific computing language (such as R or Python) and SQL

• The ability to communicate cross-functionally, derive requirements and architect shared datasets

• Willing to gets its hands to dirty to build things (almost) from scratch and recruit people in the data team.
