About the team 🚀

Smart’s software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that empower our customers to reach their digital business goals. They grow in a demanding environment that values performance and high-availability: our platform manages over 1 million bid requests per second and our dataset is about 3 petabytes in Hadoop (more than 2TB additional data per day).

Our innovation team based in Paris and Nantes is composed by 70 straightforward and energetic individuals working in an Agile environment and ready to tackle the most complex technical challenges.

Your mission 👇

• Work closely with Product Management to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Design, develop, deploy and maintain scalable and highly available solutions for our platforms engines
• Implement automated testing for new features in our continuous integration tool to ensure engines quality
• Take part to architecture discussions to boost global engine performance
• Demonstrate strong interest to work on performance and optimization topics

About you 💪

• Master degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study
• 3+ years of software development experience on a Microsoft stack (C# .Net, .Net Core, SQL) and familiar with mem-caches
• Experience in developing complex systems
• Interest in new technologies (NoSQL, Redis, Aerospike, ElasticSearch) and large-scale technical stakes
• Entrepreneurial spirit and know-how to identify opportunities of improvement
• Passion for writing high quality and maintainable code following Software Craftsmanship or Continuous Delivery
• Personal projects with code sharing
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
