The position

Job description

The Marketing Operations Manager at Spendesk will be responsible to support, enable and drive the Marketing team to better generate and educate our leads but also help to build our Spendesk brand.

You are responsible for managing the marketing automation platform (Hubspot) and fully leveraging its capabilities. Working closely with Sales, Customer Success Managers and -within the Marketing team- designer, content manager and lead generation manager, this role will implement all programmatic and operational initiatives through Hubspot and Salesforce.
This position will cover all aspects of integration, tracking, initiating and automating lead generation related projects.

Scopes and ownership

Marketing Process

  • Build, optimize, and maintain marketing automation operations – including forms, lead scoring programs, email templates, customer lists, features engagement campaigns – with the goal to drive revenue and customer engagement.
  • Maintain Marketing Automation integration with Salesforce and assist in the integration of additional platforms into the marketing automation software
  • Understand lead flow management and tactical execution of marketing programs designed to generate new sales leads and how each piece of the puzzle works on a macro and micro level.

Marketing Performance

  • Track, test, and analyze data relating to campaign metrics in order to improve and optimize programs by delivering reports to management
  • Proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards
  • Work with management to define KPIs, create reporting, analyze campaign performance.
  • Plan and perform A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth

Marketing Enablement

  • Manage and optimize database hygiene: support essential marketing operations initiatives in Hubspot and Salesforce such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing.
  • Building out comprehensive onboarding for new joiners as well as a training programme for established CS & BDR team members

  • Previous experience in a Marketing position (Traffic Manager, Marketing Manager,…)
  • 1 year at least as an Operations members, preferably in a startup/fast paced environment
