What will you do? ✍️

You will work in our brand new mobile squad! We’re migrating from an old React Native app to a fully featured native app for each platform. You’ll work in a squad with a product manager, a designer and an iOS developer to build the best payments app ever made for businesses. It’s a fantastic opportunity to work from scratch on a fantastic app which will be brought to market using Spendesk strong branding and huge customer base.

Your stack

• Android is the only requirement, you’ll be free to work in Java or Kotlin
• In the backend, we work with Node and MySQL
• We host part of our applications on docker, others on a classic monolithic structure
• We have both REST and GraphQL APIs
• Circle CI and Travis for continuous integration

We are looking for talented and passionate engineers to help us build and scale our application. If you love building efficient and reliable products, and have a strong taste in UX/UI, this job may well be for you! Having a 1st work experience in a FinTech start-up is a plus 😉

What are we looking for? 👉

Your skills

• At least 3 years of experience in native Android development with respect to state-of-the-art practices.
• Good knowledge of mobile specificities (multi-plateform, performance, network issues, etc.), especially on Android
• Good knowledge in consuming REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Great UX/UI sensibility.
• Autonomy, fast-learning and proactiveness
• Experience working in a squad from scratch is a plus

Your personality

• You are a HACKER: you are comfortable with ambiguity, you love technical challenges, to prototype and to find creative ways to solve problems in the shortest timeframe.
• You are a DOER: “tomorrow” is not part of your vocabulary. You get shit done!
