L’ Area Manager est un expert du marché dans lequel il évolue. Il maîtrise les habitudes de consommation et suit les tendances marketing. Il accompagne et conseille les acheteurs dans l’exécution de la stratégie commerciale définie pour les destinations concernées. Il est le garant de la bonne mise en avant des produits confiés.

Ses missions :

Etudier et comprendre les spécificités (usages, transport, prix, typologie clients, etc.) du marché local dans lequel il évolue :

  • Connaître les différents segments clients et suivre leur évolution.
  • Analyser et suivre la performance des produits.
  • Identifier les leviers de croissance pour chaque segment client et produit.
  • Comprendre les évolutions du marché en matière de comportement d’achat et partager des insights.
  • Définir le plan mensuel de production des ventes pour les destinations en charge :
  • Proposer le bon mix produit à l’Acheteur et veiller à la bonne adéquation du volume de ventes avec l’objectif de CA à atteindre.
  • Estimer les prévisions de performance pour chacune des ventes événementielles envisagées et challenger l’Acheteur.

Etre le garant de la bonne mise en musique des offres négociées pour ses destinations :

  • Valider les offres émanant des autres clusters et planifier quotidiennement les nouvelles offres à publier.
  • Adapter les offres aux spécificités de son marché.
  • Mesurer et optimiser la performance du merchandising sur le site, dans les newsletters et lors d’opérations spéciales.
  • Suivre la performance de l’ensemble des offres flash en ligne (trafic, taux de transformation, …).

Accompagner et supporter l’Acheteur dans ses négociations :

  • Définir avec l’Acheteur les objectifs à atteindre dans le cadre de la négociation sur des offres clés.
  • Fournir les bons KPIs à l’Acheteur pour l’aider à préparer sa négociation.
  • S’assurer de la prise en compte de son brief, par l’acheteur, dans ses négociations.

The Area Manager is an expert of its local market. He is aware of the consumer habits and follows the marketing trends. He supports and advises the buyers in their choice of the commercial strategy defined for their destination. He is the guarantor of the right level of real estate of the products that are assigned to him.

Mission :

Study and understand the specificities (usages, transports, prices, client typologies) of the local market assigned:

  • Know the different customer segments and follow their evolution.
  • Analyse and follow the products performances.
  • Identify the growth levers for each customer segment and product.
  • Understand the market development in terms of purchasing behaviour and share insights.

Define the monthly production plan of sales for the destinations assigned

  • Suggest the good mix product to the buyer and attend to combine the sales volume to the business objective to reach.
  • Estimate the performance previsions for each flash sale and challenge the buyer.

Follow the production of the flash sales and guarantee the best quality

  • Validate the offers from the other clusters and schedule every day new offers to publish.
  • Adapt the offer to one’s market specificities.
  • Measure and optimize the merchandizing performance on the website, in the newsletter and during special operations.
  • Monitor the performance of all online flash sales (traffic, TTV views, …).

Support the buyers in his renegs

  • Define with the buyer the objectives to reach withing the reneg for key offers.
  • Provide the proper KPIs to the buyer to help him prepare his renegs.
  • Attend to the well understanding of the briefing by the buyer and in his renegs.

Qualifications

ENGLISH VERSION BELOW

De formation supérieure Bac +5, vous avez au moins de 2 à 3 ans d’expérience sur le même type de poste, avec des missions d’analyse marketing, merchandising et support à la performance business.

Autonome, rigoureux et curieux, vous avez une bonne capacité d’analyse et l’esprit collaboratif.

Doté d’un sens commercial aiguë et de très bonnes capacité d’analyse, vous êtes à l’aise avec vos différents interlocuteurs internes et externes. Également, vous maîtrisez le pack office (Word, Excel, etc.)

Une connaissance du monde du e-commerce et/ou plus particulièrement du e-tourisme serait un vrai plus.

L’excellente maîtrise de l’Anglais est un indispensable pour ce poste, la maîtrise de l’Espagnol serait un vrai plus.

Degree educated (desirable but not essential)

Fluent in the English language. An understanding of French or Spanish would be a real plus.

Strong knowledge and experience within the hotel/online travel industry.

Personable and comfortable in being face to face with partners.

At ease when working with numbers (& proficient using Excel), happy to operate as part of a team and a creative thinker.
