The Social Media Manager will have the following responsibilities:
• To manage Warner Classics’ presence on social networking platforms and apps including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube Community, and Apple Connect
• To develop artist-specific social media activities around releases
• To develop longer term social media campaigns to support back catalogue actions
• To oversee, establish and refine CRM & fan database development
• To plan, write and deliver newsletters
• To maintain and coordinate D2C communication via Warner Classics owned platforms, most notably warnerclassics.com and social media pages
• To support search engine optimization and asset delivery to 3rd parties
• To manage relationships with Warner Classics artists/managements in regards to their online presence
• To act as a central co-ordination point for all international social media projects
• To arrange for content clearance in a timely manner
• To generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. high-quality original written text, photos, videos and news)
• To monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
• To form key relationships with global classical influencers across the social media platforms
• To monitor and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics
• To oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and YouTube layout)


Preferred experience

• Social media, digital marketing experience
• Native speaker English, impeccable writing and grammar skills
• Strong editing and writing skills suitable for each platform
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to details
• Excellent prioritization skills
• The ability to work effectively both as part of a team and autonomously
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Drive, initiative and enthusiasm
• A passion for and knowledge of classical music, the classical music industry and environment
• Creative thinker
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe and Excel
• Confident using WordPress and email marketing platforms
• Knowledge and understanding of social media publishing tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer etc.
• Data analysis skills, solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
• Online community management skills
• A tech whizz, able to quickly digest and utilize new online tools and software
• Interest in online advertising, including Social Media boosting
• BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
