As the Lead Front-end engineer, your mission will be to bring Destygo’s front-end development to excellence. As one of the company’s main challenges is to open our platform as a SaaS for customers, UX and UI are a top priority, meaning we will expect you to:

• Transform our front-end to make it professional and maintainable
• Guarantee a high level of quality, usability and robustness of the UI
• Coach the teams into being autonomous in quickly developing valuable features

Just to give you a glimpse of what your day-to-day will be like:

• Challenge our Product Managers and Designers on front evolutions
• Define new features’ architecture and technology
• Shipping them (because you like turning ideas into real things)
• Improve our tools (Design system, HTTP client, …)
• Coach your coworkers into making better code
• Discuss technical improvements prioritization

Here are the technologies you’ll encounter at Destygo:

• Front-end: Vue.js allied to Webpack, Yarn and ESLint
• Platform back-end: Ruby on Rails
• Interface with our data & algorithm flow: Python (Flask)

• Deep knowledge of Javascript and Vue.js or another modern JS framework
• Strong CSS expertise to match designs up to pixel-perfect quality
• Experience in designing large scale front-end applications
• Experience with at least one Javascript build and automation tool (Webpack, Browserify, Grunt…)
