The position

Job description

As part of the management team, you will be responsible to develop the business but also assemble a team of super talented people. Your role will be key to help Qonto become the online B2B banking market leader in Europe 🚀!

After a successful launch in France, Qonto is now addressing new European markets with a strong potential. This is a unique strategic and cross-functional role. You will be the central point of our international expansion by supporting the definition of our strategy and by being a key contributor in the execution of our international development

  • Manage the international team on supporting different market entry projects, coordinating between different functional stakeholders in Qonto HQ (Growth, Product, Operations, Legal) as well as the local teams (Italy, Spain, Germany and other countries soon)
  • Facilitate execution through cross-functional tasks and projects ranging from data analytics, finance, risk, legal, and operations to successfully complete projects
  • Create the framework of our operations for our international expansion (e.g., launch playbook, growth and go-to-market best practices , performance reportings)
  • Prioritize and advocate for international market needs in Qonto HQ
  • Evaluate market opportunities and provide recommendations on market entries

Preferred experience

  • Master’s degree or equivalent
  • 6+ years of experience, including experience as a top performer in a successful scale-up and/or experience in a top tier consulting firm
  • Proven track record leading an international/European expansion (knowledge of the Italian, Spanish or German market is a plus)
  • Analytical spirit, hands-on execution, and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Deep understanding and faith in Qonto’s potential in your market: you know why a service such as Qonto is needed and the value it will bring to European companies
  • Excellent communication and business development skills
  • Bilingual or fluent in English, and fluent in French/Italian/Spanish or German
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
