The position

Job description

Join a team of 8 passionate backend developers and bring your energy to:

● Collaborate with the product team to specify and plan upcoming features
● Contribute to technical evaluation and specification of upcoming features
● Implement new features using the best practices
● Correct bugs because nobody is perfect!
● Review the code of your teammates to keep the project clean and share knowledge

You will work with up-to-date stack based on PHP 7.4, Symfony 5.1, API Platform, RabbitMQ, Redis, Kubernetes, Docker and our CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab. Have a look at Christian’s short video on WTTJ to get all the info!


Preferred experience

2 years of working experience using Symfony framework (ideally Symfony 4 or 5)
● Fluent in French and English (team meetings are conducted fully in English & some developers are based in Berlin)
● Agile project management experience
● Mindset: Autonomous, proactive, adaptable (eager to work in a fast growing environment), and team spirit

Recruitment process

  • A Video-call with Patricia, the Talent Acquisition Manager, to better understand your career plan and your fit for the role at Worldia - 1 hour
  • A Technical test done at home and results discussed with Laetitia, the senior Dev backend, to evaluate your hard skills and the way you operate - 1 hour
  • A final interview with Christian, the CTO to create a strong alignment on what we’ll be expected from you and help you project yourself within the team - 1 hour

We target a 3 week long hiring process.
