We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead our new Search Engine team. As the Product Manager for Search Engine, you will be responsible for enhancing the quality of search results across all supplies (carpool, bus, train), as well as laying the foundation for offering intermodal rides. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, data scientists, designers, and business stakeholders to drive product strategy, roadmap execution, and delivery.
Your responsibilities
Define and communicate the product and engineering strategy and roadmap to all stakeholdersDefine the associated backlog and roadmap, prioritizing the highest impact projects Lead the prioritization, specification and delivery follow-up of the Search engine teamFormalize and generate alignment on major decisions related to the Search Engine scopeDeploy, follow-up and communicate about its execution among different teamsBe the “go-to” product person on all Search Engine topicsCross-functional Collaboration: work closely with engineering, data science, design, and business teams to drive product development from concept to launch. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.Data-driven decision making: utilize data analytics, user feedback, and market insights to make informed product decisions. Conduct A/B tests and experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize product performance.Quality assurance: ensure the quality and reliability of search results by implementing robust testing and monitoring processes. Collaborate with engineering teams to address any issues or bugs promptly.Stakeholder communication: communicate product vision, roadmap updates, and key milestones to internal stakeholders and executive leadership. Solicit feedback and actively engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.Multimodal journey planning: drive initiatives to build a foundation for a multimodal journey planner, including integrating various modes of transportation and optimizing route planning algorithms.Your qualifications
4+ years of work experience as a Product ManagerBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Ability to derive insights from data and use them to inform product decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and influence without authority.Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).Strong plus:
2+ years of experience as a Product Manager specifically focused on optimizing search engines/algorithms, with a proven track record of delivering initiatives that have had a positive business impactExperience working in an international environment, collaborating with diverse teams across different geographiesExperience working for an Online Travel Agency (OTA) or e-commerce site or appWhat we have to offer
