MISSION

As one of the first members of Colonies German team, you will have a paramount and strategic role in the deployment of Colonies housing solution in Germany & Austria.

You will be responsible for the set-up of Colonies German & Austrian operations. From the management of our first projects including the follow-up of works, the launch of operations and the set-up of administrative and reporting processes, you will be involved in all the aspects of the deployment of Colonies offer in Berlin and Germany. You will work closely with our Paris HQ that will assist you every step of the way.

TASKS

Project management :
Working closely with Colonies Architecture and Design Team and German Development Team, you will monitor Colonies new projects’ works phase and manage pre-opening phase

Operations :
You will set-up and carry-out Colonies operations and processes in Germany from marketing and client acquisition to tenant experience and sub-contractors management.

Product :
You will carry-out market research and client feedback loops to improve and adapt Colonies product and tenant experience to the German & Austrian markets working closely with our Product management team

Development :
You will assist our Development team in finding and executing new relevant opportunities and projects.

Admin & Corporate Management :
You will be the key person for Finance, Legal and HR in Germany. You will cover all management-related topic as well as all reporting obligations to HQ for the Area.

This is a Berlin based, full-time position but we could be quite flexible.
You will frequently travel between Berlin, Paris and other German cities.

You are a rigorous doer, very hands-on in everything you do, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
You can manage a water leak crisis in one of our operating sites and a meeting with a partner company top management to pitch Colonies on the same day.
You have amazing communication skills (both written and oral) and know how to push your decisions across a team. You are a leader and you know how to empower people to deliver great things.
You can work in complete autonomy, you are able to take your own decision and like to work in a challenging environment.
You are a problem solver, methodical and organized. You pay a great attention to details.
You have a very good knowledge of the German housing market.
You are fluent in German and English, basic French is not on obligation but will be much appreciated.
You are fluent in Excel and more generally in finance.

You have experience as a top performer in a major digital player or in a top tier consulting firm or the financial services industry.
You have a master’s degree from a tier 1 business or engineering school, with 3+ years of experience
You have a deep understanding and faith in Colonies’ potential in your market and perfectly understand the value our product brings to tenants.
You are a long-term player and you have great learning skills that will make you able to grow with the company.
