Who we are looking for:

In order to support our growth across Europe and prepare our future deployment to the US and Asia, we are opening a Chief Technical Officer position based in our Paris office. The Chief Technical Officer would have the duty to lead and gather all our technical teams (System and Network, Voice, Development and QA) around a strong DevOps approach and culture.

You would report directly to the CEO and have the following responsibilities (not exhaustive):

• Manage and grow the teams
• Ensure a 24x7 infrastructure and software operation delivering a business-critical real-time service
• Supervise the definition, deployment and operation of our international platforms
• Create and grow a strong DevOps culture between infrastructure and development teams
  Streamline development processes (branch management, QA testing, team organization, SCRUM and/or Kanban setup and improvements)
• Ensure compliance with the main security standards (GDPR, PCI DSS…)
• Manage the evolution of our internal information systems
• Monitor regulations (ARCEP, BNetzA, Oftel, RIPE…) and launch of any necessary changes within Diabolocom
• Provide assistance to presales & project teams
• Manage relations with suppliers

The T in CTO :

Ideally, you have a concrete experience or a reasonable knowledge in the following fields:

• Open Source ecosystem
• Linux Debian
• Virtualization technologies (KVM, Proxmox, Docker)
• SIP (statefull & stateless proxy, registrar)
• Database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Software development, coding (we use Java, Python, Node.js, Angular.JS)
• Internet technologies (web servers, scripting languages, mail servers, DNS servers)
• Basics of IT security (partitioning, control, authorization and access, ISO standards)
• Cluster operation, load balancing, reverse proxy
• Firewall (Cisco ASA, IPtables)
• Network (VLAN, IP, routing, BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, IOS Cisco & ASA)
• Monitoring, supervision, log management, provisioning, billing

Excellent verbal and written communication in English and French is necessary for this position.
