We are currently seeking for a Director in our Institutional EQD Sales team in Continental Europe.

In this role you will:

• Have full ownership of client relationship and deal execution with selected institutional accounts where the objective encompasses cross-asset coverage on strategic themes and transactions, and delivery of HSBC's global market suites of products.

• Act as an orchestrator between the different internal stakeholders to promote the development of the Equity Derivatives Sales teams.

• Manage and Support the wider team across execution, analytics, presentations, internal and external collaboration.

• Contribute to the identification of origination and new sales opportunities that enable growth opportunities, sales efficiency and effectiveness.

• Create a 'trusted advisor' relationships with senior stakeholder across an internal and external audience.

• Collaborate seamlessly with internal stakeholders (including Trading, Structuring, Legal and Banking colleagues) in sourcing, structuring, pricing and executing transactions suitable for targeted clients

• Act as an escalation point for client concerns / operational and contribute to a resolution which could have a relationship impact and requires further escalation.

Conditions

You should apply if you have:

• Experience in a senior level sales role with proven track record

• Have an entrepreneurial spirit with drive and motivation in order to implement and deliver the strategy

• Have a thorough grasp of the structures of Institutional organizations i.e. Hedge, Pension & Insurance funds.

• Very strong product knowledge of structured product solution and a strong transposable client base

• Demonstrate a strong capability in managing internal and external stakeholders and able to engender trust & confidence

• Commercial experience with an ability to articulate complex financial information and transactions to clients in simple narratives

• Extremely strong written and oral communication skills
