JOW is looking for a Motion Design Intern or Alternant to support our design, marketing, and food teams on creating dynamic, engaging, and on-brand motion pieces for a variety of campaigns and channels. You’ll be an integral part of the JOW Studio, working alongside a Creative Lead, Motion Designer, Graphic Designer, and Content Creator.
This is a huge opportunity to grow your motion skills with the help of an invested mentorship !
Own the motion process from the beginning to the end: from storytelling and storyboarding, to art direction and production
Participate and contribute in brainstorms, meetings, and presentations. Present and communicate design concepts strategically.
Work on a variety of marketing and communication projects across multiple formats, including ads, explainer videos, animated gifs, etc.
Help the creative team with tasks on daily basis

You’re highly motivated designer who wants to broaden your knowledge of motion graphics within a startup environment
You have a portfolio showcasing your best work. Applicants without a portfolio will not be considered.
You already have strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite programs (especially After Effects). Being proficient in Figma is a bonus.
You have the fundamentals nailed (design and animation principles, visual hierarchy, layout, typography, grid, and colour). You know what makes a motion piece “on brand.”
You’re organized, dynamic and a team player! You’re collaborative and humble. You share your successes and take feedback gracefully.
You’re based in the Paris area and are proficient in English and/or French
A 30 min call with Marjorie, our motion designer, to see if the stars are aligned
Complete a short motion design exercise (1 to 2 hours maximum). We want to keep it short since we’re only looking to understand your working processes, and your work will not be used by Jow.
1 formal interview with the Studio team and Ethelind, our Creative Lead
