We are recruiting for a Business Development Representative Intern, focused on the North European market. Your playground will be vast, with Benelux, Nordics, DACH and UK/Ireland 🇧🇪🇳🇱🇩🇰🇳🇴🇸🇪🇫🇮🇨🇭🇩🇪🇦🇹🇬🇧🇮🇪

BuyCo is in a phase of rapid growth, and we want to expand even more in this area.

We are looking to strengthen the Marketing team, in order to bring more qualified leads to Paul, our Senior Account Executive.

You will join the North Europe team composed of 2 people :

  • Paul, Senior Account Executive,

  • Elisabeth, Customer Onboarding Manager.

And you will be in touch with the all BDR team (Ana-Carolina, Kentaro).

You will report directly to Sylvain, Chief Marketing Officer, and work hand in hand with your Account Executive (Paul) + Benoit, Head of Sales.

What you will do on a daily basis :

As a Business Development Representative Intern, your role is to seek out and engage “good fit” companies through strategic prospecting 👀
To do this, you will leverage BuyCo’s existing leads and generate new interest.

Our Business Development Representatives research and prospect businesses with the goal of generating qualified leads for our Sales’ team.

Core tasks :

  1. Outbound activities : cold calls, emails, social selling, direct emails 🧑‍💻

  2. Schedule online product demonstrations for your assigned Account Executive 🤝

Your path at BuyCo :

We imagine (ideally) a journey like this one :

- 2 weeks after your arrival: your onboarding is now complete, and you understand your new environment and articulate BuyCo value proposition.

- 1 month after your arrival: you gained autonomy and you have engaged your first accounts 🎉

- 3 months after your arrival: you are fully autonomous and your metrics are on fleek. Your internship ends in 3 months but maybe we can figure out a way to continue working together (apprenticeship?)


Profil recherché

What we bring to the table:

  • Adrenalin of Sales and experience in SaaS / Log Tech ecosystem. If you share our enthusiasm for maritime transport, it would be the cherry on the cake 🙏

  • Learning how to map and understand personas, navigate into a complex organization, and identify the right persons 🕵️

  • Working in an international context, collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds worldwide 🌐

  • Ressources to grow up and trainings every week!

If you recognize yourself in this, you have a great chance of succeeding in the position:

  • Your are fluent in English. If you speak the language of one the country part of “North Europe” it would be amazing 😍

  • You already worked with some of our tools : Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Cognism, AirCall.

  • You are not afraid to talk to people that you don’t know.

Compensation, location & remote

  • Compensation : 800 euros per month.

  • Location : our office in Paris8 or our HQ in Marseille.

  • Remote policy : hybrid, with at least 2 days at the office per week.


Déroulement des entretiens

  • Step 1️⃣ : interview with Cyril, Talent Acquisition Manager (30min)

  • Step 2️⃣ : interview with Sylvain (Chief Marketing Officer) for a role play (1h)

  • Step 3️⃣ : interview with Paul (Senior Account Executive for North Europe), for a “culture fit” interview (30min)
