Our ambition is growing as fast as our tech team, which is currently composed of 11 developers, 2 designers and 3 product managers. At Comet we believe our developers are responsible of a feature from specifications to production deployment. We work closely with the product team and our users to bring the best experience possible to them.

Having worked in complex tech environments, you truly understand how a web app is architectured. You have empathy for your users and you like to bring creative solutions to them. You are curious, autonomous and like to share with your peers

Your Missions (if you accept it) :

• Work hand in hand with the product team to help us develop new features
• Find new ways to optimise the code, communication between services and database requests
• Like us, you will write some tests and do a bit of documentation, so we don’t fail twice in the same trap
• Be open minded and careful about our user’s needs including Comet’s team
• Bring in new ideas, think outside the box, step out of your comfort zone, be aware of what’s new

You have 4-6 years experience minimum as back-end developer

• Be confident with our backend stack Node.JS (2 years experience minimum), PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Sequelize, Express
• Solid experience in code architecture : The Twelve-Factor App
• Sensibility to pretty & smart code : DRY / KISS / SOLID
• Knowledge of code quality tools : testing, monitoring, alerting
• Be ready to be onboarded in a squad model
• Passionate about coding
