HOW DOES IT WORK ?

  • 200% saved from waste: products directly sourced from producers and manufacturers that would have otherwise gone unsold due to arbitrary distribution standards (size, shape, color, overproduction, etc.),
  • 100% top quality: all our products adhere to our rigorous quality policy (taste, freshness, no harmful or controversial ingredients, ethical sourcing, no heated greenhouses for fruits and vegetables, etc.), including organic and locally sourced fruits and vegetables,
  • 100% flexibility: subscription with no commitment (we're not like Free, but we understand), weekly deliveries, easy skip option for when you're away or unable to receive the delivery.

Today, we have already saved over 2100 tons of products, thanks to 20,000 satisfied customers. Tomorrow, we aim to save thousands of tons of products and deliver them across Europe!

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Bene Bono’s growth is strong and to overcome our next year's challenges it needs a reliable, well architectured, easy-to-scale tech platform along with coding, Q/A and releases best practices.

    We are in search of an experienced Engineering Manager to lead us through the next phase of our infrastructure management journey.
    The Engineering Manager role is heavily focused on leadership, encompassing Bene Bono's tech infrastructure management, establishment of CI/CD and code hosting best practices, and oversight of technical support management.
     

    Bene Bono’s tech infrastructure Management :

    Make informed and strategic decisions regarding the evolution of the technical infrastructure.
    - Implement and enforce industry-leading security best practices to safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of our systems.
    - Work on establishing robust backup and disaster recovery protocols to ensure business continuity.
    - Monitor the technical stack's performance, identify potential data or security breaches, and take proactive measures to address them.
    - Exercise control over IT costs, optimizing resource allocation for maximum efficiency.

    Set-up CI/CD and code hosting best practices :
    - Conduct comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of the technical implementations.
    - Manage the process of data migration, ensuring seamless transitions and data integrity.
    - Establish and document rollback procedures to swiftly address and rectify any unforeseen issues.

    Management of the technical support : 
    - Lead and manage a team of two Tech Support Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    - Monitor and follow up on technical incidents, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure swift resolution.
    - Maintain strong communication and collaboration with development teams and the product team to enhance overall system quality and efficiency.

    REQUIRED PROFILE

    • Experience of 4/5 years as DevOps in a Tech Company
    • Deep knowledge in Cloud: AWS, good knowledge of GCP
    • Good knowledge of network principles & architecture
    • Expertise in the setup of continuous development and successful branching model
    • Knowledge of front & backend development best practices and experience of enforcing them teamwide (think accessibility, bundle sizes, unit tests, …)
    • Fluent Level in English

      Office located in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, with a flexible approach to remote work (approximately 40% remote work) + possibility of full telecommuting if needed.
