PRIMARY SUMMARY:

The Software Development Intern is responsible for completing developing, deploying, and maintaining mission-critical applications. They will provide support and technical advice during conceptualization, development, and implementation phases to transform requirements to working solutions. This includes involvement with users to define system scope and objectives, as well as contributing to design decisions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop production-critical applications in Microsoft Power Platform MS PowerApps, Flow, and Power BI
Creating and supporting new solutions that digitize business processes that help business areas reduce redundant work while enhancing productivity, consistency, and efficiency
Connecting data from different sources like SharePoint, SQL, or Dataverse in PowerApps
Creating and configuring Power Apps (both Canvas and Model-driven Apps)
Designing and implementing Power Automate workflows
Working with business end-users to verify and validate logic
Organizing development efforts including design, testing, and migrations
Migrating apps from the development environment to test production as per timelines
Provide support during conceptualization, development, and implementation phases to transform requirements to working solutions. This includes involvement with users to define system scope and objectives, as well as contributing to design decisions.
Implement enhancements to existing system in addition to coordinating with other developers working in parallel and perform QA/testing as needed
Database programming using SQL
Other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and/or Experience
•Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year College or university in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Development or related programs.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Computer Skills
An individual should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Access, SharePoint, Power Automate, Java Script and C++ Programming, SQL. Foundational knowledge of Office 365 platform including Exchange, Azure Dev Ops, and Azure ecosystem. Understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business materials
