Reporting to the Director of Partnerships and Development, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for the following tasks, among others
- International prospecting
- Partner management
Active market intelligence on the French and international markets, with a particular focus on our gender-related themes and current societal issues, in order to identify new prospects;
Active prospecting, through the development of relevant sales and prospecting tools;
Making contact and arranging meetings with identified prospects
Maintain relationships with partners under renewal;
Maintain database of prospects and partners;
Organization of and participation in prospecting meetings;
Establish weekly calls with partners for follow-up information and involvement.
Drafting notes after meetings and regular follow-up;
Monitor negotiations with potential and renewing partners
Identify key contacts and events
Draft partnership contracts for prospects and renewals, and make any necessary adjustments.
Ensure that all required parties sign the partnership contracts.
Monitor invoicing, reminders and outstanding payments in conjunction with the Finance and Administration Manager.
Managing the relationship with the partner throughout the year: participation in various events and opportunities related to the program and communication.
It is also important for the Business Development Manager to have a certain interest in gender and international relations issues, and to be motivated to raise awareness of these issues among other contacts.
