As our new junior backend developer, you will have the following missions:

• Development stack: PHP 7, Laravel 5, composer and PHPUnit
• High understanding of design patterns, RESTful web services, and clean code
• Help on the technical design phase and ensure that our current services are perfectly performant and robust
• Learn and improve our best practices

The backend team has developed a large number of RESTful web services which serve all the dynamic content to more than 200 high-traffic websites. Additionally, this team is building a new service engine which will allow Selectra to offer an online comparator for multiple businesses (telecom, banking, insurance, etc). You will have to work in an agile environment with the latest technology stack such as git, docker, continuous integration, AWS, relational and NoSQL databases.

You will work with the backend team, a well-balanced team of senior and junior developers together with project managers, frontend developers and -occasionally- designers to create and enhance applications and websites.
