Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of a full-fledged large scale internet product including front-end & back-end
  • Complete responsibility of all stages of software development life cycle - understanding business and customer problems, requirement analysis, scalable and reliable solution/architecture, detailed (high-level & low-level) design, coding & unit testing, detailed test planning with QA, post-production bugs fixes.
  • Proper documentation, reviews, checklists, change management and task/release tracking
  • Solely responsible for solution/design of a new product or feature
  • Work closely with product owners to have clear understanding of how product is performing and what needs to be done.
  • Provide substantial technology and functional inputs to Product Managers/Owners on regular basis to aid in better evolution of product.

Project Management

  • Detailed planning, tracking and post-production monitoring of project releases. Resource planning and detailed estimates for future releases.
  • Proper work allocation to team members. Regular project status tracking and reporting to senior management
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for dependencies to deliver the product/release.

People Management

  • Lead a team size of 10-15 members comprising of Developers/Senior Developers, Team Leads/Sr. Leads.
  • Responsible to maintain a cordial working relationship and conducive culture within the team
  • As per the HR processes, appraise team members with timely feedback and guidance
  • Complete knowledge and awareness about the abilities, skill level, quality and concerns of each team member. Do proper growth planning for each team member.
  • Establish and drive software processes within engineering team. Contribute at company level to establish best practices to improve quality of products and performance from product team
  • Maintain highly positive attitude and conducive working relationship with peers
  • Always keep himself/herself updated about technology advancements, new trends. Share thknowledge with team members and peers regularly.

Profil recherché

Requirements:

  • 8+ Years of experience in Software Development ; 3+ years experience in team lead or management position. Led a team of at least 5-8 members;
  • Hands-on experience of architecture/solution, detailed design, high-quality coding and Unit, Module and Automation testing skills
  • Experience of Agile development methodology and continuous software development lifecycle processes

Stack :
● PHP and MVC frameworks (Symfony/ Yii/ Zend/ Codeigniter/ Laravel)
● JS
● HTML5, LESS
● MongoDB

  • Experience in Data structures, Design patterns, algorithms etc.
  • Ability to clearly communicate among team members, peers, partners and senior management
  • Excellent crisis manager and problem solver for both product and people issues
    Education : B- Tech/BE/MCA/MTech Degree from a reputed university
