Following our strategy to unleash the full potential of our international markets, we are seeking a Tour Operator Manager focused on the Italian and Spanish markets. With a strong emphasis on business development, the Tour Operator Manager will lead sourcing and negotiations with new partners in these regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and revenue in the Italian and Spanish markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local tour operators in these markets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand our presence in the regions.
  • Collaborate with supply and sales teams to ensure that offers correspond to VPG standards and targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to optimize product offerings and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee operational aspects such as contracting, pricing, and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Negotiate deals from A to Z.
  • Coordinate the sale with the departments in charge of the production of the sale : production assistant, content editor, loading, sales performance manager.
  • Analyze the performance of the different sales and regular reporting of the performance with each partner.

Profil recherché

Our ideal candidate possesses...

  • Proficiency in Italian and Spanish (written and spoken), and fluency in English.
  • Proven experience in the tourism industry, with experience in negotiations with tour operators being essential.
  • Strong network and existing relationships with key players in the Italian and Spanish travel markets.
  • Business development skills, with a willingness to build business from scratch.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
  • Rigorous, organized, analytical.
  • Strength of conviction.
