Get to know Work With Island 🏝️

Work With Island designs and manufactures soundproof cabins for new workspaces. Having worked in shared spaces, we understand their limitations: few places to isolate oneself and meeting rooms often monopolized. It is to provide this moment of serenity and productivity that Work With Island was born. We produce in France using recycled and recyclable materials, cabins for 1 to 4 people that can be set up in less than 30 minutes.

We're in need of an experienced Account Manager to oversee and nurture a portfolio of key clients. Your role will involve building strong relationships, addressing client needs, and identifying opportunities for growth within the account. 

🎯 Main responsabilities: 

 

  • Managing an existing client portfolio (distributors, coworking spaces, and architects):
    • Handling incoming inquiries
    • Responding to bids: preparing application documents, arranging presentation meetings at our Paris showroom, negotiating contracts.
    • Identifying new opportunities within managed accounts
    • Participating in key client events
    • Preparing and conducting annual business reviews
    • Negotiating contract renewals
    • Ensuring client portfolio satisfaction
    • Responsible for achieving revenue and margin targets
  • Identifying and responding to public tender offers
  • Participating in various trade shows
  • Coordinating with product, operations, finance, and marketing teams on all client projects
  • Reporting and analyzing actions taken and proposing improvement strategies
  • Defining the sales strategy within their scope with the Sales Director and CEO.

💡Do you recognize yourself in this?

 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience, including at least 3 years in managing B2B key accounts, preferably with manufacturers supplying the furniture distribution industry.
  • Proficient in managing the entire sales cycle, including negotiation, closing, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Skilled in handling bids and familiar with RFP & RFI processes.
  • Ability to engage with C-Level stakeholders and build and maintain a network.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify business opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including listening, empathy, and approachability.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and effective time and stress management.
