Position Responsibilities

Reporting to the Procurement & EU operations director, the Senior Procurement Manager will :

 Ø Handle the collaboration with the European suppliers:

o   Suppliers and copackers of Dodie baby accessories products  and Good Gout baby food products(full scope)

o   Suppliers of Biostime infant milk and probiotics (to note that for this category, some aspects of the collaboration are handled by H&H headquarters – contract negotiation for example)

 Ø Develop the business partnership with the suppliers and consolidate the sourcing to reduce the overall supplier portfolio as well as implement an adequate procurement strategy in term of cost / cash / service and quality in line with commercial strategy

 Ø Analyze the potential of the current supplier portfolio and develop the right plan to prepare the procurement to face the future business evolutions.

 Ø Drive the simplification effort of the supply chain procurement and related processes to enhance supply responsiveness and efficiency.

 Ø Integrate and Implement group sustainability policy in our sourcing and procurement strategy and make sure our partners are in line H&H group sustainability standards

 Ø Contribute to the New Products Development (NPD) multi-functional process:

o   Develop new product materials with R&D

o   Identify suppliers and negotiate the purchasing costs as well as supply agreement

o   Propose alternatives to comply with NPD P&L objectives.

 Ø  Lead the process of supplier validation and qualification in collaboration with the required H&H functions.

 Ø Formalize and manage the supplier partnership through an aligned contract.

 Ø Identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities to comply with the group cost efficiencies objectives.

 Ø Track, report and communicate the supplier’s KPI’s and lead the related improvement action plan as well as potential contingency plan

 Ø Report internally all relevant measures to other functions (cash forecast, supplier performance, etc…)

Ø Manage the procurement team.

 Ø Others:

o   Additional tasks / projects assigned by the manager

o   Minimize business risk linked to each supplier

o   Ensure each supplier complies with the standards required by H&H

ü Master’s degree with a procurement / supply chain specialty

ü At least 10 years of experience in procurement

ü Fluent in French and English

ü Basic knowledge of an ERP

ü FMCG copacking experience

ü Ability to handle large supplier portfolio with strong products diversity and high quality and service standards

ü Negotiation techniques and strategic thinking.

ü Can lead a tendering process until contract formalization

ü Data crunching and analytical skills.

ü Multifunctional collaboration approach

ü Time and priorities management

ü Results oriented mindset, be able to work in a stretch environment.

ü Knowledge of import/export requirements, domestic deliveries and basics on warehouse requirements.
