We are looking for a motivated individual to help form a world-class QA team and process. We value and understand the importance of Quality Assurance in the development process, and want you to help us integrate a robust process from the ground up. We are in pre-production, and would like you to join us now in order to define the processes, help us hire and train the staff, and build our external QA relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Identify bugs, document, and confirm resolved, initially hands-on, ultimately through your process and team.
• Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
• Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
• Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers.
• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
• Schedule and monitor playtest sessions with internal teams or external players, coordinate with the team to handle feedback.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.

• Minimum 2 years work experience as QA lead in software quality assurance or 7 years work experience in QA in the game industry, with project level responsibility.
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes (JIRA)
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Understanding of game programming and client-server architecture in order to quickly identify and categorize issues.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
• Experience with game-as-a-service is a plus
