As Chief Financial Officer you will report directly to the founder and CEO and work closely with the COO. Your role will be to design the path to profitability and help Hopwork accelerate its growth in a sustainable and efficient way (incl. M&A)

Your role will include :

1] Growth and strategic planning

• Lead the budget and forecasting exercise
• Lead the companie’s next rounds of funding or debt raises
• Leverage public financing and subsidies H2020, BPI, Coface etc.
• Help identifying startups for potential acqusitions in target countries
• Conduct in depth analysis on margin and revenues to improve the business model
• Prepare the IPO process for a mutli-billion euro market introduction ;)

2] Management and controlling

• Identify talents and recruit a team of 2 by end of 2018, 5 end of 2019, to be defined together
• Setup controlling processes to direct all aspects of accounting operations such as receivables, payables, payroll etc
• Ensure the liaison accounting firm, lawyers, auditors
• Be responsible for of all cash related matters (debt collection, cash position optimization)

The impact of the CFO will be huge, you will gain a deep knowledge of funding and startups with a strong international exposure. You will have frequent interactions and problem solving sessions with top french VCs (ISAI, Serena Capital) and soon international ones.

We are looking for a talented and ambitious financial expert who will also grow with the company. The ideal candidate has :

• An extensive experience in audit, or even better in transaction services or financial advisory
• Master degree in Finance and Accounting or top engineering or business school
• Strong numerical and analytical skills (well, that goes without saying….)
• Effective communication and writing skills in English, shakespeare level not mandatory
