The position

Job description

Our ambition is growing as fast as our tech team, which is currently composed of 11 developers, 2 designers and 3 product managers. At Comet we believe our developers are responsible of a feature from specifications to production deployment. We work closely with the product team and our users to bring the best experience possible to them.

Having worked in complex tech environments, you truly understand how a web app is architectured. You have empathy for your users and you like to bring creative solutions to them. You are curious, autonomous and like to share with your peers.

Your Missions (if you accept it) :

• Collaborate hand in hand with the Product & Design departments to produce high quality user interfaces;
• Implement responsive designs, fitting all kind of devices (Mobile First approach);
• Contribute with some back-end experience, open to collaborate on our APIs, and more;
• Supply unit and functional tests to ensure your code continues to work in a fast-moving environment;
• Improve day after day the architecture of our front-end apps;
• Take part in the specifications of new features in a squad environment;
• Demonstrate a fiddly work ethic and a great attention to code quality;


Preferred experience

  • 5-6 years experience as a front
  • Solid experience in JavaScript (ES6+);
  • Clear understanding of the component-based architecture inside a front-end app (Vue.js, React);
  • Be confident with our stack: Vue.js, Apollo/GraphQL, VueX, Stylus or equivalent frameworks / data layers;
  • Have an occult ability in architecting your code to meet high standards of quality;
  • Be an advocate of automated testing and testing frameworks (unit, e2e, etc.);
  • Be at ease with modern software workflow management tools such as GitLab, your CLI, as well as task runners like Webpack;
  • You have an eye for design and a good sense of details;
  • You are ready to be onboarded in an incredible squad model;
  • You also have a good sense of humour;
