Job description

Supervised by Guillaume COURTIN, Radiofrequency Research Engineer, within the Radiofrequency team composed of 20 people, you will work on new approaches to improve antenna performances of Greenerwave technology.

In this context, your missions will be as follows:

  • Use numerical simulation software to design key elements of the Greenerwave’s beamformers (waveguiding system, electronically reconfigurable metasurfaces, cavities).

  • Together with mechanical R&D team and hardware team, design each of these elements for fabrication (cavity, feeding system etc.).

  • Assemble and characterize experimentally the antenna and its key components.

  • Together with Algorithmic team, develop and validate experimentally new concepts to improve software control and performances of Greenerwave’s antenna.

  • Learn deeply how to work with the variable equipment: anechoic chamber, vector network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator etc.

  • Present results of the research to other members of Greenerwave technical teams.

Preferred experience

You are pursuing a master’s degree or engineering diploma in physics or electrical engineering, with a focus on waves physics. You are seeking a challenging apprenticeship that will allow you to enhance your analytical and numerical modeling skills in waves physics!

A first experience in antenna design and measurement would be a plus. Ideally, you have already worked with measurement devices such as Vector Network Analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator etc.

Professional skills

  • Good knowledge of electromagnetism and/or waves physics.

  • Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Python or Matlab.

  • Electromagnetic simulation software such as CST/HFSS/Comsol.

  • Good level of French and English (oral and written).

Personal skills

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in an international team.

  • Scientific curiosity and research-oriented mindset.

  • Proactivity.

Our perks

  • Customized training and close follow-up.
