Since late last year, we’ve achieved a strong inflexion point, making “indirect channels” the #1 source of revenue acquisition for Pennylane. And we believe this is only the beginning, since there’s so much more to be done, as well as a very deep market.

We aim at being the new all-in-one for finance & accounting platform for accounting firms and companies to work together. We know it’ll be about building the best product, but also by making everything tied together to create a Brand accounting firms & their customers love.

We know there’s no marketing playbook for that. That’s why we want to explore new things B2B companies don’t usually do, such as creating a strong media alongside Pennylane to raise the bar, be both vocal & relevant on social medias. We want to lead with ideas, to develop new formats, new experiences and a new way to do content marketing

Our Team

Within the Pennylane organization, the Brand Team is responsible for :

- Developing initiatives that set Pennylane as a brand companies & accounting firms love

- Shaping and executing a strategy to connect and grow our business through accounting firms, technological partners and resellers / integrators

We’re a team of 5 including:

- Léa, our Event Manager

- Ynès, our Event Apprentice

- Benjamin, our Brand Designer

- Audrey, our Content Manager

- Clément, our Team Lead

What you’ll be responsible for

We’re looking for a seasoned Content Lead, who’s able to impact Pennylane at both strategic and execution levels. We’re aware it’s a rare profile.

Overall responsibility will be:

  • Owning the global Content Strategy and it’s execution (SMEs + Accounting firms + Partners)
  • Owning the Content output. Think as an “Editor in chief” and coordinate insights from team members
  • Coordinating people to achieve your plan, should it be internal or external stakeholders
  • Managing our Content Manager
  • Day-to-day tasks

  • We expect from you to own the Content strategy and its execution, meaning you’ll explain and show us the way. That being said, some of your day-to-day tasks could be:
  • Managing our Editorial Committee across departments. You’ll be making sure we align everyone’s efforts with your Content Strategy and quality expectation
  • Working on ComptaTech strategy & execution (an annually event so far). Turning into a beloved and major media around accounting, business and innovation (podcasts, web series, events, videos, a think-tank, a book?)
  • Coordinating people to make sure a major product launch is supported with a relevant Content & Communication Strategy
  • What kind of people are we looking for ?

  • You’re a forward thinker about content. We want you not to be afraid to propose innovative strategies, tactics and formats that could help us stand out from the market
  • You have experience building and executing a successful Content Strategy from scratch. And you want to do it again for us
  • You think holistically, as we want to make a strong media out of ComptaTech (podcast, videos, events, think-tank, and more)
  • You build content from a distribution perspective, thinking audience / format / channel as soon as you set your Strategy
  • You know Marketing is everyone’s job at Pennylane, and you’re able to orchestrate your vision across many different people and personalities
  • You have enough experience to propose, lead, adapt, even in a fast changing environment
  • You know how to leverage social networks and strong appetite for social media and pushing the boundaries of what B2B brands should do
  • You’re able to embark / gather people around you to meet your goals
  • You’re proficient in coordinating several people (including content writers and regular employees) to deliver at fast pace
  • You’re not a meeting a powerpoint wolf. For us it’s important that you’re also able to DO the work, should it be writing a post, updating our website or helping on initiatives like events
  • You’re able to understand, and then explain effectively complex & technical concepts to various types of audiences
  • You have outstanding communication skills, both in French & English
