About Sonio

Each year, 140M children are born. Birth defects affect 1 in 33 births in developed countries, and in 50% of cases, they are not detected during prenatal examinations. Prenatal medicine is particularly complex, and the scans impose heavy responsibilities on healthcare professionals. They can also be a source of stress for future parents.

Resulting from 5 years of collaboration between world-renowned experts from Necker Hospital and Ecole Polytechnique, Sonio uses artificial intelligence to improve prenatal screening and diagnosis. Based on patented algorithms and a proprietary expert database, Sonio aims to become the reference tool to help practitioners improve screening, reduce diagnostic errors, and optimize pregnant women’s medical path.

About the role

You will join the leadership team in a strategic role. Overall you’ll be the CEO's strategic partner to succeed in the next round of funding and in the commercial scale of the company in the US. Main missions will be:

• Iterate with CEO and revenue & ops team on business model and pricing strategy to optimize topline (ARR, revenue), cash and EBITDA over time.

• Deliver all expected reportings to the board on both topline and bottom line as well as key performance indicators.

• Manage team of one FTE (to be recruited) and part time controllers both in France and USA

About the profile

Sonio is a mission-driven company so interest in our mission is critical. Other requirements are:

• You have leadership Finance experience in a tech company, familiar with SaaS software metrics, experience in deeptech/medtech is a strong plus

• Ability to lead our finances in a global context (US & Europe currently)

• Perfect fluency in English

• Despite your leadership, you’re able to be hands-on and enjoy start-up culture

Location: Paris

Salary: €95k - €120k full package
