A graduate of École Polytechnique and Columbia University, Rodolphe created his first company straight out of university. In 2013, he sold his company to Solocal (formerly Pages Jaunes) and took up the role of COO at Drivy before getting back to his entrepreneurial roots with Spendesk.
A true SaaS devotee, he saw first hand that business spending and expense reports were a nightmare for companies of all sizes to manage, as much for employees as for management and accounting. That’s how he got the idea for Spendesk, THE answer to team spending.
His greatest strength : eating three burgers at once like it ain’t no thang :) His biggest fear : green veggies !
Jordane, aka J among his inner circle, graduated from École Polytechnique and Stanford. After his first role in entrepreneurship, he joined Coorpacademy as Technical project Manager before creating Spendesk with Rodolphe Ardant and Guilhem Bellion. Agile, scalable and lean, Jordane is daring, just like his product roadmap.
Distinguishing feature : a recently-donned wedding ring. OCD of most note : spontaneous Michael Jackson impersonations… he blames it on the boogie :)
After her first role in investment funds, Maylis, an ESSEC graduate, joined eFounders in 2016 to help create startups and became the very first Spedesk employee.
Aside from being a serious Gif fan (if it involves cats, count her in), since joining eFounders Maylis has been busy signing clients, putting together the Customer Success team, and taking such good care of Spendesk users that they’ve become the startup’s best ambassadors.
Her greatest strength : attentiveness Her biggest weakness : the sweet lure of the mighty honey drop
Spendesk is a fast-growing SaaS & FinTech company based in Paris’ Silicon centre. Their mission: kill the hassle of payment at work. They believe in empowering employees and that spending for your company should be as easy as checking your email inbox. To achieve this goal, they use the latest innovations in the banking industry to reinvent the purchasing experience for companies.
Started by eFounders, they launched in June 2016 with an international ambition and now have more than 600 client companies all over Europe. Top startups like Drivy, Konbini, Dataiku or Deezer rely on Spendesk everyday to run their businesses and they absolutely love the product. Early 2018, they raised €8 million from European Angels & VCs, just 12 months after a seed round of €2M, bringing the total amount raised to €10M.
Spendesk is looking for talented, ambitious, curious and friendly people up to the day-to-day challenges that come with working at a startup :)
All teams are actively recruiting, from Product, Marketing, and Development to Sales and Customer Success. They’re all growing fast and are looking for go getters who can add to their momentum.
At Spendesk they’re into :
- Creating their own emojis with Slack
- Having Gif battles
- Eating pastries
- Giving each other gifts using e-currency
- And best of all, catching up every week to go out for drinks, play escape games, sing karaoké (some in tune, others less so) and more !
