Job description

United Heroes is seeking a motivated and proactive Business Development Representative (BDR) Intern with a focus on cold calling to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales and business development within a mission-driven organization. The BDR Intern will be crucial in generating leads, initiating contact with potential customers, and driving business growth through proactive outbound calling efforts.

Your main missions :

  • Conduct targeted cold calling campaigns to generate leads and identify potential prospects for United Heroes.

  • Research and gather information on target companies and decision-makers to personalise outreach efforts and maximise effectiveness.

  • Utilise scripts and sales collateral to engage prospects, communicate United Heroes’ value proposition, and qualify leads.

  • Document all interactions and update the CRM system (e.g., Hubspot) with accurate and detailed information on leads, activities, and outcomes.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for optimising cold calling campaigns and achieving sales targets.

  • Assist in other sales and business development activities as needed, including email outreach, lead follow-up, and appointment scheduling.


Preferred experience

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently engage with prospects over the phone.

  • Comfortable making cold calls and overcoming objections to initiate meaningful conversations with potential customers.

  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient, with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
